CASPIAN TRANSIT CORRIDOR – 21st of May 2015

Goal: Main achievement will be gathering all parties that are participants of the Middle Corridor, a transport route stretching from China to Europe through Central Asia and the Caspian. China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are the countries where this route passes through. Panel focuses on transportation sector in these countries, current situation and future projections. Enhanced cooperation among related countries and overcoming the obstacles regarding infrastructure, customs duties, funding and bureaucratic issues to actualize Middle Corridor as fast as possible is at great importance. Outcome: A report will be published with detailed analysis on Caspian Transit Corridor which highlights freight projection and cost-time analysis on this route.
